After radiographic and clinical evaluation, Stem Cells will be injected in close proximity to the bone between the affected teeth. The patient will be re-evaluated in a 3 month period. The patient shall continue the Periodontal maintenance that his dentist has started.
The goal is to gain 2-3 mm of bone height which in turn will push and support the gums higher into the spaces between the teeth. This in turn will assist in reducing the effect of gingival(gum) recession and bone loss.
Our patients find that this process is more effective with less discomfort than the traditional treatments that involve harvesting bone from other parts of the body and grafting it into the gum."
